Effect of Polypropylene Fibers on moisture Susceptibility of Warm Mix Asphalt

Warm Mix Asphalt (WMA) is a modern energy-saving process that uses environmentally friendly materials, has lower mixing and compaction temperatures, less energy releases contaminants than conventional hot mix asphalt. Moisture damage poses one of the main challenges material design in asphalt pavements. During its life, pavement exposed to effect moisture from surrounding environment. This research intends investigate role polypropylene fibres for modifying susceptibility WMA by using different percentages (namely 2, 4, 6%) weight binder control mixture (WMA). In this paper, physical characteristics cement, Marshall properties, Tensile Strength Ratio (TSR) Index Retained (IRS) were determined establish on WMA. The results displayed modification AC with caused an increase optimum content 1.03, 3.09, 11.3%, addition 4 6% P.P., respectively. resistance was enhanced adding according rise values.
